Considering the thrill I get from venturing out to places I haven't been to, I consider myself so lucky to have a boyfriend who is just as thrill seeking as myself. A couple weeks ago per my request we traveled out to Los Angeles to experience a day at The J. Paul Getty Museum.
Although the parking fee of $15, the actual experience is priceless. The art, architecture, gardens, and views overlooking LA make for a days worth of fun. Photography is not allowed inside the actual art exhibits, but the central garden was a personal favorite viewable form of art. Pictured above, the maze like features are surrounded by small hedges holding small arrangements of pink and red flowers. While on the opposite side (not pictured) there is a small water fall flowing into the water surrounding the maze. Since walking around the area is allowed, we discovered a cactus garden that is not accessible, but can be pictured with a beautiful view of LA looking south of the Getty. A definite go-to place in Los Angeles, The Getty was interpreted works of art from the inside of the exhibits to the outer surroundings.
