Lately making the most out of Summer has been my overall objective. The Cali weather is making a tab bit difficult to dress though. Some days are ridiculously hot and others are so chill. Either way this day causal meets chic. That combo has been my fave lately just because I love to be comfy while explore, I mean who wouldn't?!

Often times it can be so easy to give into the bad times, feelings and thoughts that we have but you're not the only one going through something we've all been there, its just the way you approach things that will determine whether it continues or it comes to an end...

Casual attire is my favorite attire. When it comes to clothing I do believe the simplicity of an outfit is what makes it pop! I always stress the fact that adding your own personal twist to a LBR (little black romper) like this one can make all the difference. Styling outfits is a huge part of what I love about having my own blog. Lately that's what I have been doing on my downtime. I figured I'll continue to style a couple outfits a week in order for you to see here on the blog. This specific one is a favorite for me because it features one of my favorite bands style.

DRESS UP | DRESS DOWN

 

 

 Bringing this look back. If you've been following me for a while now you'll remember I wore this outfit in one of my posts earlier this year. Now I am bringing it back because I wore my outfit in two different ways. I love to show how easy you can change looks from day to night and how one simple alteration can make a huge difference. I posted the version where I am wearing heels now take a look at how I easily turned this #ootd to a casual chic day look.

When I started my blog last year I initially intended on adding clothing to my site. I enjoy sharing outfit inspiration with you and therefore I figured it would perfect to sell my own clothing line which represents my style and the type of clothing that I like. I am so proud to start selling the first small collection of items straight from my blog. I plan on starting off small with these few items and depending on how they sell I will begin releasing new items on a monthly basis. I'll say again that I appreciate your patience and support as I start adding new features to the blog.

My style typically revolves around the western/tribal/boho look and +Silpada Designs  new collection is right up my alley. I was invited to preview their new line of jewelry and accessories. This event had the most beautiful hand crafted pieces that I wanted to take home with me that very day. I can't wait to add their Fall pieces to my wardrobe as soon as it launches in July.

Dressing comfortable is the main concern I have when I am choosing an outfit every morning. By the title of this post, you probably know June Gloom has been getting the best of us lately. This day was going to be full of a couple of adventures so I made sure I dress comfortably but with an edge add.

AT THE TOP...shop

Topshop is everything! Lately it's been my one stop shop for all my staple items. On this afternoon, my BF J and I weren't up to much. He remembered I had recently been

I love to add my favorite denim jacket to a lot of my outfits for a classic look. I've been trying to incorporate a different variety of looks for you to relate to. Right now dresses are a perfect go-to with the weather warming up around here. Add some heels to the ensemble and I am completely in love with the outfit. Dress + Jean jacket + Heels + cute tote bag = this weekends #ootn.

STAIRWAY TO STYLE

 

The Grove in Los Angeles is a classic one stop shop or shops I should say. You can not only shop your favorite stores but the food places there are so amazing too. I was excited when the opportunity finally came along to eat at Morels which is hard to miss. It's one of the two corner restaurants right in front of the infamous water fountain. Not only did I get to eat there but there was also what I like to call, The Stairway to Style.

When this was photographed it happened to be a weekend dedicated to the amazing most important women in our lives...Mother's Day! it was a busy but beautiful one and this is how we celebrated.

Music Festival season has arrived! Feels like just last week my boyfriend and I were lovers on the lawn listening to chill tunes and burning under the desert sun. This year we actually won't attending.. sad face but this doesn't mean I dress for the occasion in this SoCal sun. Leading up to Coachella, the week of usually is when the outfit planning goes into play. Need some inspiration for your inner boho queen?

 

WEEKEND ATTIRE

  

 

 The higher the heel the closer to _________. Fill in the blank, I just love wearing anything with a heel. Booties are usually my go-to but when I have a new pair of heels are cute as these I had to wear them out. I've been lusting over this type of heel lately and finally found cute affordable one's during my recent trip to Laura's Boutique. These tan strappy beauties are essential to my wardrobe, I can wear them casually with jeans or dressy with a skirt. I loved this weekend outfit it was casual with a little ump plus super affordable pieces.

Who says dressing well is expensive, style is not bought but created.

Casual outfits are my absolute favorite! Perfect for a busy day such as my Friday. Not only did it take me about 10 minutes to get dressed (this does NOT happen on the daily) but I was comfortable all day long.
