Something about traveling is so hype filling for me. Since I have been so busy lately and haven't really had time to jet-set, my BF and I took advantage of our three day weekend. What better way to spend it than to hit the road towards Vegas to catch a cool stay + watch one of our favorite bands?!

LIFE IS A BEACH

 

 

The beach is my all time favorite happy place. Since Summer is slowly approaching an end, my Boyfriend and I decided to take a drive out to Newport to get our toes in the sand. Just like me, he loooves to be at the beach too so this made for quiet a date. This day was full of cool surprises and great outcomes like the much needed tan I left with.

 

 

D I S C O N N E C T E D

 

How many hours you spend on your phone? All day, All day.

We all love social media and its not our fault, now a days the apps we have access to are too amazing to pass up. Not to mention the perks of taking a picture and being able to add filters, graphics, collages, and more automatically makes us feel artsy and creative. All of this takes time which is usually spent with others and when you are with others you are not necessarily in the moment with that person.

With this said as of lately I have noticed that I enjoy time spent away from my phone in order to enjoy the people and places around me rather than letting another moment in my life fade into a very vague memory.

"Summer , Summer, Summer tiiime..."

 

Definitely one of my favorite times of the year is Summer time, sun is out, tanner skin, and time for traveling! Our Summer destination for last year was Costa Rica!!! I was so excited to travel because it was my very first time traveling in an airplane..yes I know that's sad lol. CRYSTAL COVIN'

 

 Everything is better at the beach...there's something about having your toes in the sand, messy hair from the ocean breeze, and the SoCal sunshine beaming down. I don't get tired of mentioning how blessed I AM to live where I do. One day I can be at the beach and next I can be up in the mountains, adventure is out there for those who seek to find it.  

RINGING IN THE NEW YEAR: MINI ROAD TRIP

 

  

With the New Year comes new adventures for my Boyfriend and I. Deciding to pick up and head on a weekend getaway before heading back to work and school after Winter vacation, a road trip was a perfect idea.

A LOOK BACK AT 2014

Here we are, New Years Eve 2014! Wow its been a quite an adventure full of memorable trips. This year has been one of the best by far. I've embarked on taking steps and actions towards getting what I want out of life more specifically out of my career and all around well being.

As a fashion enthusiast, I was happy to accept Press & Media passes to a show presented by Runway Magazine, "Rock that Fashion".

Considering the thrill I get from venturing out to places I haven't been to, I consider myself so lucky to have a boyfriend who is just as thrill seeking as myself. A couple weeks ago per my request we traveled out to Los Angeles to experience a day at The J. Paul Getty Museum.
