MARCH MUST HAVES | BEAUTY

I skipped last months beauty faves but no worries because March has a few must haves to talk about.
I love all things beauty so this category of my blog will include items not limited to makeup. Certain things I'll include are hair products, nails, and skin care. I think a skin care routine might be next, let me know if that's what you'd like to see. Till then enjoy this post of my March favorites...

  • MOROCCAN ARGAN OIL
Throughout the week I try not to do my hair because rocking a messy top knot is much easier. Recently I started an internship so I kind of have to do my hair when I go into the office... boooooo. Anytime I apply heat to my hair I make sure to add Moroccan Argan Oil to my hair after it has air dried (I don't like blow drying my hair). By applying a dime size amount of oil to the ends of my mane, makes sure the heat being applied wont 'burn' damage my hair, which causes coarse and dry hair. Nobodys got time for ugly dry hair so argan oil heals and restores previously damaged ends. Easy to use and the benefits are amazing! You need a bottle of this for your hair regimen, since I've been using it I've noticed strength and additional shine in my hair.

  • CLINIQUE FACE MOISTURIZER
I've mentioned in my previous beauty post that I don't use makeup on a daily basis. Lately I haven't been using it when I go out either. Even though that's been happening, lately people have been complimenting my skin and asking what I am doing. Of course when this happens I am not wearing makeup, one important holy grail that I am wearing is moisturizer. Moisturizer is a huuuuge part of my daily skin care routine. I use Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ I use this version because I have dry skin (if you have combination to oily skin they have this available in gel formula.) So why do I use it? It works wonders, the silky texture quickly absorbs into my skin which is beneficial because you don't have to sit around waiting for it to dry. I have dry skin year round so this provides the right amount of moister for me for the whole day while I am out and about. The benefits of using moisturizer on your face is so essential I cant stress it enough, it will make your skin appear more youthful, radiant, and with elasticity. If you're not already moisturizing a good way to get in the habit of doing so make it a point to do it at the same time every day to create a routine you wont be disappointed.

  • BENEFIT WATT'S UP! HIGHLIGHTER
Although I haven't been applying foundation when I go for a night out I do use highlighter. Using highlighter helps brighten important parts of the face. I apply Benefits Watt's Up to the top of my cheekbones, temples, and bridge of my nose. This instantly causes a luminous look which appears as if I have a full face of makeup on. The champagne gleam this highlighter leaves is so beautiful and can easily be blended with the soft-glow blender it comes with at the bottom of the tube.

  • MAKE UP FOR EVER HD HIGH DEFINITION POWDER
Setting powder is important to use whenever applying any makeup on your face because it will help keep the setting of your makeup looking the same throughout your day or night. When wearing foundation this helps matte the look without changing your makeup appearance. I received this setting powder through a Christmas gift set and haven't needed a refill just yet. I use this on days that I apply heavy concealer in order to set the concealer from wearing out. I love Make Up Forever's HD powder because it keeps the pigment of your makeup while adding a flawless finishing touch to your face.
