April showers bring May flowers, May flowers bring June gloom. Already here, this last month flew by but thats not necessarily a bad thing. As I mentioned on an IG post recently, I am glad to have accomplished my goals for the month of May. One being that I'd try out a few new items to talk to you about in this post. Since I have been busy, this month's beauty review is a short and sweet one, hope you enjoy!
Cera Ve Sunscreen Broadsprectrum SPF 50
As I've mentioned before, sunscreen is SO important to wear on a day-to-day basis. Currently getting in the habit of applying SPF to my face every single day. Especially since the SoCal weather has been cray, my skins needs this more than ever. During a recent trip to Ulta, I was overwhelmed with the amount of facial suncreens available. After talking to a helpful employee and looking up reviews, I chose to try out CeraVe Suncreen with SPF 50. So far I am loving this SPF because although the formula is white, it blends well and leaves not trace of white tints behind. It is also buildable meaning I can apply my regular moisturizer on top of it and still get protected from harmful rays of sunshine. I'll make sure to give you an update on how this works out for me.
Herbal Essence NAKED
The other day I ran out of conditioner which meant a Target trip was only appropriate. While in the shampoo/conditioner section I noticed Herbal Essences has re-launched and revamped their forumals. This particular conditioner caught my attention because it doesn't contain any parabens or sulfates hence the 'naked'. It is important to me that the products I use on my hair are structured like this specific conditioner. Formulas like this drastically help with dry brittle hair and helps smoothing hair. So far I've been loving this product, it smells amazing and it leave my hair silky smooth after a shower.
Sally Hansen
Hard as Nails
I LOOOOOOOVE nail polish! I probably have about 20+ nail lacquers that normal right? I have to have every color but then again my struggle seems to be that I always gravitate to pastel colored polishes with I already have plenty of. Another struggle about nail polish is the price. Sometimes the going get tough and I have to decide if its a need or a want. Well my point is I think those days are behind me. I found Sally Hansen 'Hard as Nails' lacquer for only $1 and some change. NOT bad at aaaall so naturally I picked up two bottles (one for me and one for me lovely niece) After trying this color (#370 No Hard Feelings) I came to find out that the formula is really vibrant and tends to last long without chipping easily... score! Looks like Sally Hansen is enabling my nail polish collection. (:
Thanks for stopping by and reading my genuine thoughts on the following products! I appreciate each and every one of you!!!
