Lately SoCal weather can't seem to get it together. Earlier in the week it felt like Summer in the Winter and today my outfit was accommodating to both. I love a chilled weather day because I get to wear my favorite pieces to that make up an outfit.

Thrifted finds are my favorite! Someone else's trash becomes my treasure. On our recent weekend road trip, while in Palm Springs my Boyfriend and I stopped by at a local thrift boutique and the Palm Springs Vintage Market.

With the New Year comes new adventures for my Boyfriend and I. Deciding to pick up and head on a weekend getaway before heading back to work and school after Winter vacation, a road trip was a perfect idea.

A LOOK BACK AT 2014

Here we are, New Years Eve 2014! Wow its been a quite an adventure full of memorable trips. This year has been one of the best by far. I've embarked on taking steps and actions towards getting what I want out of life more specifically out of my career and all around well being.

 Venturing out is one of my favorite things to do! This week having vacation time away from work has been perfect for stepping out and seeing new places. Just so happens that the lovely location my Boyfriend and I ended up at was basically in our backyard!!

 As promised here is a Birthday blog of what my birthday ventures consisted of for the week. December 17 was a Wednesday which also happens to be a busy day on my weekly schedule. Between work and school, on my actual birthday I was lucky enough to celebrate a quick cupcake eat with my lovely boyfriend before work then shortly after a holiday potluck at work.

Three days before I even knew this event was being held, I was reading Marianna Hewitt's blog (LaLaMer) when I came upon an older blog post she had published which explained she would be holding her own personal YouTube and social media creating content session at The Grove in LA.
